An ambulance caught fire on the premises of Satkhira Medical College Hospital on Monday night. No casualties were reported.
The blaze broke out in a garage on the hospital’s western side. Firefighters from Satkhira Sadar Fire Service Station, along with police, rushed to the spot and brought the flames under control.
Md Saifuzzaman, deputy assistant director of Satkhira Fire Service and Civil Defence, said the cause of the fire and the extent of damage would be determined after investigation.
