American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) signed an insurance agreement with Protective Islami Life Insurance Limited (PILIL) on Monday at the AIUB campus.
The agreement was signed by Tazul Islam, dean and acting treasurer of AIUB, and Kishore Biswas, chief executive officer of Protective Islami Life Insurance Limited, on behalf of their respective organisations, reads a press release.
Among those present at the signing ceremony were Md Abdur Rahman, pro-vice chancellor of AIUB; Md Sohidul Islam, chief financial officer of Protective Islami Life Insurance Limited; Md Alamgir Sikder, deputy manager; along with senior officials from AIUB.
Under the agreement, group insurance benefits will be provided to all management, faculty members, officials and staff of AIUB, reinforcing the university’s commitment to employee welfare and financial security.
