Abdur Rahman, former assistant head teacher of Government Nalchity Merchants Secondary School, is no more.
He passed away around 2:30pm on Tuesday (Bangladesh time) while undergoing treatment at a hospital in the United States.
He had been suffering from diabetes, kidney complications, and various age-related illnesses. He was 84 years old. He leaves behind his wife, one son, three daughters, and numerous well-wishers.
According to his family, arrangements are being made to bring his body back to his homeland soon.
A pall of grief has descended upon Nalchity at the death of the beloved teacher. Leaders of the Secondary and Primary Teachers’ Associations have expressed deep sorrow and extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
