Google’s new global student offer now includes Bangladeshi students, allowing them to access its Google AI Pro service, including Gemini Pro, free for 12 months.
Google AI Pro membership provides expanded AI features and 2 TB of storage, helping students optimise their work and projects using Google’s technology.
To get the free trial, students must verify their status through SheerID, a trusted online verification service. They also need a Google account, a valid form of payment, and must be enrolled in a recognised higher education institution. Students must be at least 18 years old.
Existing users who previously redeemed the Google AI Pro student trial can continue to enjoy the benefits by re-verifying their eligibility through SheerID to receive an additional 12 months of free access.
Students should note that members of family plans or those subscribed through third-party partners like Pixel Pass or Google Fi are not eligible. For verification support, students can visit the SheerID help centre for guidance.
This initiative opens new opportunities for Bangladeshi students to explore AI tools for learning, research, and creative projects without any cost.
