Two district-level Jubo Dal leaders in Chattogram have been expelled from all party positions, including primary membership, for violation of party discipline.
The central committee of the Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal, a youth wing of BNP, issued a notice, signed by party’s Assistant Office Secretary Minhazul Islam Bhuiyan, in this regard on Monday.
The expelled leaders are Mokkammel Haque Talukder, former vice-president of Chattogram South District Jubo Dal, and Rokon Uddin, former joint general secretary of Chattogram North District Jubo Dal.
The statement said that both expelled leaders were found to be involved in “clear violations of party policy and ideology.” As a result, their primary membership along with all other affiliations with the party has been revoked.

Jubo Dal President Abdul Monayem Munna and General Secretary Mohammad Nurul Islam Noyon have already enforced the decision.
The party emphasised that it will not take any responsibility for the misconduct of the expelled members.
Additionally, Jubo Dal leaders and activists at all levels have been instructed to sever all organisational ties with them.
