The Dhaka University (DU) held a certificate-giving ceremony for the 28th batch of its flagship training course, “Advanced Course of Research Methodology (ACRM),” at the Institute of Education and Research (IER) on Friday.

DU Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) Prof Dr Sayema Haque Bidisha distributed certificates and crests among participants as chief guest at the event.

The Pro-VC Bidisha praised IER for regularly conducting the course and contributing to the development of young researchers. She emphasised the need to apply research knowledge in practical fields to advance education and innovation.

She further highlighted DU’s recent initiatives to promote pragmatic research, including the formation of a university-industry collaboration committee.

The programme was presided over by ACRM Course Coordinator Prof Dr Mohammod Moninoor Roshid. IER Director Prof Hosne Ara Begum and Prof Dr Mohammad Ali Zinnah attended as special guests and delivered their remarks.

The welcome speech was given by Prof Dr Tamanna Sultana, while Associate Prof Dr Saira Hossain delivered the vote of thanks.
