In an effort to improve the quality of education and enhance students’ skills, Jibannagar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md Al Amin Hossain conducted lessons at various grade levels at Dhopakhali Government Primary School in Monohorpur Union, Chuadanga.
He taught English, Bengali, Mathematics, and several other subjects on Thursday morning.
Upazila Primary Education Officer Ismail Hossain and school headmaster Md Mizanur Rahman Lucky, along with other teachers, also attended these sessions.
During the lessons, Md Al Amin Hossain advised the students to focus on gaining fundamental knowledge in each subject.
He also encouraged them to develop a well-rounded understanding beyond just the subject matter, emphasising the importance of acquiring knowledge across various disciplines.
Teachers, students, and others at the school expressed their satisfaction with the Upazila Nirbahi Officer’s involvement. Sumaiya, a 5th-grade student, said, “UNO sir taught us English grammar, which was really helpful.
We have learned many new things today.” Similarly, Afshana Mim, another student from the same class, said, “The Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sir taught us multiplication tables and percentage calculations, which we enjoyed a lot.”
Md Mizanur Rahman Lucky, Head Teacher of Dhopakhali Primary School, stated, “It was a pleasant surprise when the Upazila Nirbahi Officer visited our school and taught the students across different subjects. He also guided us teachers on several aspects, which will play a crucial role in shaping our future approach.”
UNO Md Al Amin Hossain remarked, “I regularly visit both government and private schools to improve the quality of education and enhance students’ skills.
“As part of this initiative, today I visited Dhopakhali Primary School to teach the students subject-related lessons and provide suggestions for improving the teachers’ skills.”
