Shimanto Bank has launched its Visa Platinum Credit Card, aimed at offering customers premium benefits, financial flexibility, and global acceptance.
The card, introduced on August 31, 2025, is part of the bank’s strategy to enhance its position in the competitive credit card market.
Brig Gen Md Shahadat Sikder, Chairman of the Audit Committee at Shimanto Bank and Additional Director General (Headquarters) of Border Guard Bangladesh, formally inaugurated the card at a ceremony at the bank’s corporate headquarters. Other key officials, including Managing Director & CEO (CC) Mohammad Azizul Hoque, Head of Business Md. Sahidul Islam, and Head of Cards & ADC Sharif Zahirul Islam, attended the event.
