In the second match of the series, Bangladesh bowled out the Netherlands for just 103 runs after they batted first, leaving themselves a target of 104 to claim the series.
The Bangladesh bowlers were in superb rhythm from the start. After losing the toss, the Netherlands opted to bat, but Nasum Ahmed quickly turned the game on its head. He dismissed opener Max O’Dowd for 8 runs off 10 balls when the total was just 14 and sent back Teja Nidamanuru on the very next delivery. Although he missed a hat-trick, his early strikes set the tone.
Opener Vikramjit Singh, who scored 24 off 17 balls, fell at 37, caught by Taskin Ahmed. The Dutch side continued to struggle during the powerplay, scoring 40 runs but losing three wickets. Shariz Ahmed added 12 runs off 17 balls before Tanzim Hasan Sakib removed him. Towards the end, Aryan Dat tried to stabilise the innings but could not prevent a collapse.
In the final-wicket partnership with Daniel Doram, Aryan Dat contributed 30 off 24 balls before being the last man out, leaving the Netherlands all out for 103 in 17.3 overs. Sheikh Mehedi Hasan claimed his wicket.
For Bangladesh, Nasum Ahmed finished with three wickets. Mustafizur Rahman and Taskin Ahmed took two wickets each, while Tanzim Hasan Sakib and Sheikh Mehedi Hasan picked up one wicket apiece.
