On the anniversary of the July Uprising, the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) will hold a victory rally across the country today, Wednesday (6 August).
A press release signed by BNP Senior Joint Secretary Ruhul Kabir Rizvi announced this program today, Tuesday. The press release said that in continuation of the July Uprising celebrations, a victory rally will be held on 6 August (Wednesday) in all districts and metropolitan units across the country to mark the anniversary of the fall of Awami fascism and the victory of students and the people, which took place on 5 August.
At 3 PM, BNP’s General Secretary Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will inaugurate the victory rally in front of BNP’s central office in Nayapaltan.
Leaders and activists from districts in the Dhaka Division, including Tangail, Manikganj, Munshiganj, Dhaka District, Dhaka North and South City Corporations, Gazipur, Gazipur City Corporation, Narsingdi, and Narayanganj District and City, will participate in the rally.
BNP leaders and activists from all levels of the party and its associated organizations in Dhaka and across the country have been urged to attend the victory rally promptly.
