The stage is set for the 2025 MLB All-Star Game, with lineups officially announced on Monday by the American League and National League. Leading off for the National League will be Shohei Ohtani, while Gleyber Torres will top the order for the American League in Tuesday night’s clash at Truist Park.
NL manager Dave Roberts, who also manages Ohtani with the Los Angeles Dodgers, keeps things consistent by slotting his designated hitter into the leadoff spot, just as he has throughout the regular season. Ohtani, who was the NL’s leading vote-getter during Phase 1 of fan balloting, will be followed by Atlanta Braves left fielder Ronald Acuña Jr., a local fan favorite, and Arizona Diamondbacks second baseman Ketel Marte.

For the American League, manager Aaron Boone of the New York Yankees has pushed Gleyber Torres up to the leadoff spot, despite typically using him at No. 2 in the Yankees’ lineup. He’ll be followed by Riley Greene (Tigers, LF) and Aaron Judge (Yankees, RF), who led all players in fan voting after Phase 1.
