Pakistani actress Kinza Hashmi could be preparing for a cross-border leap into Dhallywood, with rumours linking her to superstar Shakib Khan’s upcoming film Mohabbat. If confirmed, the project would mark her Bangladeshi film debut and bring together three entertainment industries through one rising collaboration.
Born and raised in Lahore, Kinza began her showbiz career in 2014, initially working in television commercials and modelling before moving into acting.
She gained widespread recognition in 2018 with the drama Ishq Tamasha, in which she played Rushna. Her other notable television credits include Gul-o-Gulzar, Deewar-e-Shab, Shongsar, Mohabbat Tum Se Nafrat Hai, Faraib, Daldal and Hook. She has also appeared in the films Kattar Karachi and Sharoz.
Kinza has already crossed borders through her professional collaborations. She shared the screen with Indian actor Karan Wahi in the music video Mere Ho Jao. Wahi later called her his favourite actor across the border and praised her as one of the sweetest people he knew.
She has also explored singing, releasing a cover of Sajna in 2020.
However, her pairing with Shakib remains unconfirmed. Mohabbat is expected to reach theatres during Eid-ul-Azha 2027.
