Kartik Aaryan may headline Vivek Agnihotri’s upcoming military drama Operation Sindoor, adding another real-life operation-based film to his slate.
According to NDTV, citing a report by Variety India, Kartik is expected to play the male lead, though the makers have not confirmed the casting.
The film, announced by Agnihotri and producer Bhushan Kumar, centres on India’s 2025 military campaign following the Pahalgam terror attack.
Before taking it on, Kartik is expected to complete Captain India, directed by Shimit Amin and based on the 2015 Operation Raahat evacuation mission.
The film is planned for Independence Day weekend next year. Naagzilla is due in February 2027, while his project with Anurag Basu is expected in April 2027.
Kartik recently won a National Award for Chandu Champion (2024), celebrating his journey from Gwalior and calling the honour a dream for actors across India.
