Family ties and emotional relationships are striking a chord with audiences in the television serial ‘Rokter Bondhon’, which has recently aired its 22nd episode.
Directed by Megh Heem, the series continues to draw positive responses from viewers.
The family drama is being released on a YouTube channel and features actors including Zebunnesa Tuntuni, Kazi Raju, Deepa Khandakar, Reshma Ahmed, Abid Pranto and Shiuly Shila.
Zebunnesa Tuntuni said she was drawn to the story from the beginning, particularly because the director wrote the script himself and could bring his own vision to the screen.
“I liked the story very much. Since the director wrote the script himself, Megh Himu has tried to make the drama according to his own vision. Everyone working in the production feels like family to me, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The drama has received a good response since its release, and I am hopeful about the upcoming episodes,” she said.
Reshma Ahmed also expressed satisfaction with the production, highlighting the shooting locations outside Dhaka and the performances of the cast.
“We shot the drama outside Dhaka. The story, locations and everyone’s acting have come together well. I am also happy with my character. We have been receiving a good response from viewers since the drama began airing,” she said.
For Shiuly Shila, ‘Rokter Bondhon’ holds particular significance as it is currently the only serial in which she is acting. Although she has appeared in many serials before, she said Megh Heem had given her an important role in this production.
“I have acted in many serials in the past, but this is the only one I am working on at the moment. The director has given me an important character, and I am receiving a positive response from viewers. Everyone on the team has become so close that I miss them after shooting ends. I especially miss Reshma apa,” she said.
With its family-centred storyline and a cast that shares a close bond both on and off screen, ‘Rokter Bondhon’ is continuing to build a connection with its audience as new episodes arrive.
