Actors Prantar Dastider and Nusrat Afrin have reunited for Ebhabeo Prem Ashe, their first telefilm together after previously sharing the screen in a short film and a one-hour drama.

The pair first worked together in a short film directed by Vicky Zahed. They later appeared in Tomatei Mogno Thaki, a one-hour drama directed by Tarique Muhammad Hasan. Their latest collaboration marks their first venture into a telefilm together.

Director Sanjid Khan wrapped up the shoot in Uttara early Saturday after two consecutive days of filming. Written by Parvez Imam, Ebhabeo Prem Ashe will air on Channel i this afternoon as part of a special occasion.

Prantar said the role offered him a different experience from his previous acting work. Although he has played a range of characters over several years, he found something fresh in this project.

“I have been acting for several years and have had the opportunity to take on different kinds of characters. This one also felt different to me. It is primarily a light-hearted and humorous love story, but it also explores the ups and downs that come with relationships,” he said.

Prantar added that he enjoyed working on the telefilm and hoped viewers would enjoy it too.

Sanjid said he wanted to present the romance differently from conventional love stories. The telefilm blends humour and romance while exploring different moments in a relationship, he said, praising both lead actors for their sincerity on set.

Nusrat, who reached the top 10 of the 2025 Lux Channel i Superstar competition, has been taking on more acting projects. The telefilm adds another screen appearance to her growing acting journey.

The cast also features Azam Khan, Harun Rashid Bunti, Siam Nasir and child artiste Ayat.
