Veteran Bangladeshi actress Khaleda Akter Kolpona has returned home after nearly two weeks of treatment at a hospital in Moghbazar, Dhaka, following health complications linked to physical weakness and diabetes.

The actress was discharged on 14 October after her condition improved. Popular actress Sheuli Shila, who entered the film industry with Kolpona’s support, shared the update.

She said Kalpana played an important role in bringing her into the film industry.
