Janata Bank PLC’s board on Tuesday reviewed recovery of classified default loans and other priorities for the state-owned lender at its 904th board meeting in Dhaka, the bank said in a statement.
The meeting was chaired by Janata Bank Chairman M Fazlur Rahman and attended by directors Abdul Awal Sarker, Md Shahadat Hossain, Md Ahsan Kabir, A A Mahboob Uddin Chowdhury, Khandaker Mamun and Azizun Nahar.
Managing Director Md Mazibur Rahman and deputy managing directors Md Foyez Alam and Md Nurul Huda were also present.
The board discussed steps to recover classified default loans along with other measures requiring the bank’s attention.
