Modhumoti Bank PLC has reached Tk12,000 crore in deposits, marking a milestone that the bank celebrated at an informal ceremony held at its head office on Sunday, 27 September 2026.
The event was attended by Salahuddin Alamgir, chairman of the board of directors; Mohammad Ismail Hossain, vice-chairman; A Mannan Khan, chairman of the Risk Management Committee; members of the board; Md Shafiul Azam, managing director of the bank; and other senior officials.
The bank said in a press release that the achievement reflected its consistent growth in deposit mobilisation, strong customer confidence and commitment to governance-based banking operations.
Other attendees included directors Sultana Jahan, Tanjima Binthe Mostafa, Md Mahbubur Rahman, Tanveer Ahmed Mostafa and Syeda Sharmin Hossain, independent directors Md Shafiqul Alam and Monjurul Ahsan Bulbul, Additional Managing Director Shahnawaj Chowdhury, Deputy Managing Director and Chief Business Officer Arab Fazlur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director and Chief Risk Officer Arif Hasan Khan, SEVP and Head of Human Resources Division Md Shafiqur Rahman, and VP and Company Secretary Md Rezaul Karim, along with other senior officials of the bank.
