Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) detained a man with 89,400 yaba tablets during a raid in Cox’s Bazar.
The detainee was identified as Erfan, 30.
According to the BGB, three other suspects fled the scene. They are Md Kader, 45, Md Kamal, 40, and Md Mansur, 55.
The process of handing over Erfan to the local police station is under way. The seized yaba tablets and other items will also be handed over to the police.

“BGB is committed not only to guarding the border, but equally to preventing drugs and smuggling. Such operations will continue in the future,” he said.
