Two cocktails exploded in front of Fortune Shopping Mall in the capital’s Malibagh area on Friday afternoon after unidentified individuals threw those from the Malibagh flyover.
No casualties were reported in the incident.
DMP Motijheel Division Additional Commissioner Zahid confirmed the incident.
The explosions took place around 3pm on the main road near Malibagh Rail Gate under Shahjahanpur Police Station.
According to police, unidentified individuals threw two cocktails from the flyover onto the road below.
The devices exploded shortly afterwards, but no one at the scene was injured.
