CEMS-Global USA and CEMS Bangladesh have inaugurated the 25th Bangladesh Edition of the Textile Series of Exhibitions 2026 at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Centre (BCFEC), Purbachal, Dhaka, marking 25 years of the exhibition series’ engagement with Bangladesh’s textile and apparel industry.
The four-day exhibition series, running from September 2 to September 5, 2026, brings together international manufacturers, technology providers, suppliers, buyers, sourcing professionals and industry stakeholders from across the global textile and apparel value chain. The event is open daily from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.
The inauguration ceremony was presided over by Meherun N Islam, President and Group Managing Director of CEMS-Global USA and Asia-Pacific. Chief guest Sharf Uddin Ahmed Choudhury, Secretary of the Ministry of Textiles and Jute, attended the event, along with guest of honour Dr Md Abdus Sabur, Secretary and Director General of the Department of Textiles under the Ministry of Textiles and Jute.
Special guests at the event included Sultana Yasmin, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Industries; Md Jakir Hossan, Chairman of Bangladesh Handloom Board; Major Md Saiful Islam, PSC, CSCM (Retd.), Secretary (Acting) of Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA); and Amal Podder, CIP, Senior Vice President of Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA).
CEMS-Global said in a press release that the 25th Bangladesh Edition of the Textile Series represents a major milestone in its long-standing partnership with Bangladesh’s textile and apparel sector. The exhibition series combines three major international exhibitions under one platform: the 25th Textech Bangladesh 2026 International Expo, the 26th Dhaka International Yarn & Fabric Show 2026 and the 53rd DyeChem Bangladesh 2026 International Expo.
The exhibitions showcase textile and apparel machinery, production technologies, automation, digital manufacturing systems, yarn, fabrics, trims, accessories, dyestuffs, pigments, textile chemicals and specialty chemical solutions.
Over the past 25 years, the Textile Series has connected Bangladeshi manufacturers and industry professionals with international suppliers of machinery, technologies, raw materials, fabrics, chemicals and production solutions. The exhibitions have also provided opportunities for factory owners, manufacturers, sourcing professionals, merchandisers, engineers, designers and production teams to explore technologies, sourcing opportunities and business partnerships.
The 25th Textech Bangladesh 2026 International Expo focuses on textile and apparel machinery, automation, digital manufacturing systems and productivity-enhancing technologies. The 26th Dhaka International Yarn & Fabric Show 2026 features international suppliers of yarn, fabrics, trims and related materials, while the 53rd DyeChem Bangladesh 2026 International Expo highlights dyestuffs, pigments, textile chemicals and sustainable processing solutions.
The exhibition series comes as the global textile and apparel industry undergoes changes driven by sustainability, traceability, supply-chain resilience, shorter lead times and responsible manufacturing. CEMS-Global said Bangladesh’s next phase of growth will depend on productivity enhancement, innovation, diversification, sustainability, technology adoption and value addition.
During the exhibition, BCFEC is expected to host textile and garment manufacturers, factory owners, production managers, merchandisers, sourcing professionals, buying houses, engineers, designers, importers, distributors, international suppliers and other industry stakeholders.
Five international seminars will also be held alongside the exhibitions, focusing on innovation, emerging technologies, sustainability and future industry trends. The exhibition series has previously hosted more than 1,475 exhibiting companies, 2,245 booths and pavilions, participants from 37 countries and more than 16,000 business visitors.
A Digital Transformation Zone at Hall B has been introduced this year to showcase digital machinery, automation and technology solutions aimed at improving productivity, operational efficiency and smart management in the textile and apparel sector.
CEMS-Global said the anniversary edition reinforces the Textile Series’ role as a major international business-to-business platform connecting global manufacturers, technology providers, buyers, sourcing professionals and industry stakeholders with Bangladesh’s textile and garment industry.
The exhibition series will continue at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Centre, Purbachal, Dhaka, until September 5, 2026.
