Bangladeshi music director and producer Shahriar Ahmed Saj is hoping to take his music to the international stage with his latest instrumental track, Angels Shower, which is set to be submitted for consideration at the 2027 Grammy Awards.
This is not Saj’s first entry into the Grammy race. His track Death Angel was previously submitted for consideration at the 2021 Grammy Awards.
Saj has been involved in the music industry for many years.
In 2012, he played an important role in bringing Oscar-winning Indian composer A R Rahman’s music education institution, KM Music Conservatory (KMMS), to Bangladesh.
He has also worked on the music of Mrittika Maya, a film that won the National Film Award.
Now based in New York, Saj continues to pursue music alongside his business activities.
He has remained involved in creative projects while seeking to expand his presence in the international music scene.
Recently, Saj also secured a place among the top five on the popular US music platform America’s Hitmaker.
His latest achievement has further strengthened his ambitions of representing Bangladesh on the global music stage.
With Angels Shower set for Grammy consideration, Saj is now looking to build on his previous experience and reach an even wider international audience.
