Dhallywood actor Omar Sani has taken fans down memory lane with a reunion of four popular stars who were prominent figures in Bangladeshi cinema during the 1990s.
Omar Sani, Amit Hasan, Amin Khan and Misa Sawdagar recently came together for an informal gathering at Misha’s home, following Amit Hasan’s return to Bangladesh after spending time abroad.
Sharing the reunion on Facebook, Omar Sani reflected on how life and work have taken the longtime friends to different places over the years.
“Our friend Amit Hasan is currently living abroad. Amin Khan and I are still in Bangladesh, while Misha Sawdagor spends much of his time travelling back and forth by plane,” Omar wrote.
He added that Misha invited the friends to his home after Amit returned to the country, creating an opportunity for them to reconnect.
“When Amit came back, Misa Sawdagar invited us to his home. And just like that, we became the story of friendship and love from the 90s all over again,” Omar wrote.
Misa also shared a photograph of the four friends, describing the gathering as a small event organised in honour of Amit.
The four actors were among the recognisable faces of 1990s Dhallywood, earning popularity through a range of roles.
Although their careers and personal lives have evolved over the decades, their friendship has remained intact.
The reunion has also sparked nostalgia among fans who grew up watching their films, with many expressing delight at seeing the four stars together again after so many years.
