Actress Pori Moni appears to be finding a quiet way to make up for plans that did not work out, turning to a favourite book instead.
The actress recently shared several photos on her verified Facebook page, where she appeared in an elegant blue saree with her hair neatly tied in a bun and a gentle smile on her face.
In her hands was legendary writer Humayun Ahmed’s book Tondrabilash, which she held close at times and browsed through in others.
Alongside the photos, Pori Moni wrote, “I could not go to the kashbon or see the autumn sky. So, Tondrabilash is the way.”
The post quickly drew praise from fans, who admired both her appearance and the calm mood of the photos. Her blue saree and understated styling particularly caught their attention.
Meanwhile, Pori Moni has reunited with filmmaker Gias Uddin Selim for another web fiction. After working with him in Swapnojal and Gunin, she will now appear in Separation.
Imtiaz Barshan will star alongside Pori Moni in the new production, while film actor Nirab will appear in a special role.
