The government has transferred and given new assignments to 14 senior police officials, including deputy inspectors general (DIGs), additional DIGs and superintendents of police (SPs)
The Home Ministry issued two separate notifications on Tuesday, signed by Deputy Secretary Toufiq Ahmed.
According to the notifications, the reshuffle involves four DIGs, four Additional DIGs, and six officials with the rank of SP.
As part of the reshuffle, some officials have been appointed to key positions, including the Chattogram Range and the Sylhet Metropolitan Police (SMP) commissioner’s office.
The latest move comes as part of the government’s ongoing reshuffling of senior police officials.
