Indian television star Jennifer Winget is reportedly preparing to begin a new chapter in her personal life, with reports claiming she will marry Singapore-based businessman William Ishmael in an intimate ceremony in the United Kingdom on Thursday.
According to Bollywood Hungama, the couple are planning a private white wedding attended only by close family members and a small circle of friends. The report also claims that Jennifer will wear a custom-designed white bridal gown created by designer Karleo.
Neither Jennifer Winget nor William Ishmael has confirmed the reports.
The couple have largely kept their relationship out of the public eye. Earlier reports claimed William proposed to Jennifer during a holiday, after which they began planning their wedding. Sources quoted in the report said Jennifer has been personally involved in organising the ceremony, including finalising vendors and overseeing other arrangements. A photograph of Jennifer and William has also circulated widely on social media, adding to speculation surrounding the reported wedding.
Jennifer was previously married to actor Karan Singh Grover. The pair met while working on the television series Dill Mill Gayye. They married in 2012 before separating in 2014. Reflecting on the divorce in later interviews, Jennifer said the separation was a matter of timing, suggesting they may not have been ready for marriage at that stage of their lives.
Over the years, Jennifer has established herself as one of Indian television’s leading actresses with performances in Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Dill Mill Gayye, Saraswatichandra, Beyhadh, Bepannaah, Code M and Raisinghani vs Raisinghani. She is also set to appear in an upcoming Netflix mystery thriller alongside Parineeti Chopra and Tahir Raj Bhasin.
For now, however, neither Jennifer Winget nor William Ishmael has publicly responded to the wedding speculation.
