Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan (BKSP) has been recognised as one of the “25 Most Impactful Institutions of Bangladesh” as part of BRAC Bank’s silver jubilee celebrations.
The honour was presented at an event held in Dhaka on 5 July, where 25 institutions were recognised for their significant contributions to the country’s development and improvement of people’s lives in areas including education, health, social development, agriculture, technology, arts and culture, and sports.
According to BRAC Bank, the recipients were selected through a rigorous and transparent evaluation process by an independent jury panel, considering their social and economic impact, contribution to public welfare, institutional capacity and long-term role in national development.
BKSP received the recognition for its longstanding contribution to sports development, producing international-standard athletes, conducting modern sports education and training programmes, and contributing to Bangladesh’s achievements in national and international sports arenas.
At the event, BRAC Bank Managing Director and CEO Tarique Refat Ullah Khan handed over the award to BKSP Director General Brigadier General Mohammad Saif Ullah.
After receiving the award, the BKSP director general congratulated BRAC Bank’s chairman, board of directors, management and all concerned on the bank’s silver jubilee. He also expressed gratitude to BRAC Bank for recognising BKSP’s contribution to sports development in Bangladesh.
BKSP Director (Training) Colonel Md Golam Mabud Hasan and hockey trainee Irene Akter Riya were present at the event.
