Walton has introduced 15 new refrigerator and freezer models under a global rollout aimed at expanding its export footprint and strengthening its position as an international electronics brand.
The products were unveiled at the “Walton Mega Launch” event at the company’s corporate office in Dhaka on Saturday, with participation from local officials and overseas business partners joining virtually from Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Europe.
The new lineup, branded as the “Global Innovation Series,” includes side-by-side smart refrigerators, water dispenser models, non-frost units, top-mount refrigerators, solar-powered chest freezers, vertical freezers, minibar fridges, beverage coolers and ice cream freezers.
Walton Chief Business Officer Md Tahsinul Haque said the company has already expanded exports to more than 55 countries while maintaining a strong domestic presence.
“Our goal is to establish Walton as one of the world’s leading global electronics brands by expanding our presence to over 100 countries,” he said, adding that the launch of the new models in international markets would support that target.
Among attendees at the event were Walton Refrigerator Brand Ambassador Bidya Sinha Saha Mim, Walton Head of Research and Innovation Centre Azmal Ferdous Bappi, Walton Chief Marketing Officer Zoheb Ahmed and Walton business partner in India Sonjoy Saha, alongside other senior officials.
The flagship product in the new lineup is a 629-litre side-by-side smart refrigerator featuring a 32-inch Magic Mirror multimedia display, said Walton Head of Research and Innovation Centre Azmal Ferdous Bappi.
The model allows users to browse the internet, watch YouTube content and access online shopping platforms through the display interface, positioning it as a lifestyle-oriented appliance.
It also includes features such as Magic Mirror technology, AI Doctor, turbo cooling, an 8-in-1 convertible mode, MSO Plus inverter technology and separate cooling control aimed at improving energy efficiency and maintaining food freshness.
Walton has also launched two additional 619-litre side-by-side refrigerators equipped with water dispensers, aqua fountain systems, dual control, super freezing and holiday mode functions.
The company introduced a 255-litre solar-powered chest freezer designed to support energy-efficient cooling, offering up to 160 hours of retention. The unit includes a food-grade aluminium cabinet, interior lighting and a 4D cooling system.
In the non-frost segment, Walton unveiled a 515-litre refrigerator featuring MSO Plus inverter technology, a dedicated chiller room, eco mode, super freezing and real-time temperature control to maintain stable cooling and reduce electricity use.
The product range also includes top-mount refrigerators with updated designs, 5-star energy ratings, Aero Sync technology, DECS cooling systems and intelligent inverter technology.
As part of its international strategy, Walton has developed 50-litre and 93-litre minibar refrigerators targeting the United States market. A 165-litre single-door refrigerator has been designed for Nepal and India, incorporating tempered glass doors, semi-automatic defrost systems and larger vegetable compartments.
For commercial users, the company launched a 720-litre double-door beverage cooler, a 100-litre single-door beverage cooler and ice cream freezers with curved and sliding doors, aimed at retail shops, restaurants, hotels and cafés.
Walton officials said the launch reflects a focus on innovation, energy efficiency and export-oriented product development as the company seeks to compete more aggressively in global markets.
