Kamrunnahar Koly returned to the national shooting setup on Thursday after the Bangladesh Shooting Sports Federation lifted her ban in Dhaka, with officials imposing strict conditions and a three-month monitoring period as part of her reinstatement. The decision followed earlier disciplinary action linked to alleged breaches of camp conduct.
The federation has required Koly to submit a written commitment to follow all imposed rules before rejoining the training camp. These rules include restrictions on media engagement and behaviour within the camp. Officials have warned that any breach will trigger immediate disciplinary action.
The federation has barred Koly from speaking to media without prior approval. It has also prohibited her from posting comments about federation decisions, players or coaches on social media. These conditions place direct limits on public communication and internal conduct.
The federation will monitor Koly for three months after her return. Any disciplinary issue during this period may result in a permanent ban. The federation has also stated that it will enforce a renewed suspension without notice if she violates conditions after the monitoring phase.
The decision follows earlier allegations of misconduct within the shooting camp. A complaint against former official GM Haider Sajjad led to an investigation by the National Sports Council, which found him at fault and removed him from his position. The federation had previously banned Koly during this period before now reversing that decision under conditions.
