A three-day international exhibition, “11th Safecon 2026”, began in Dhaka on Thursday, aiming to boost international cooperation in renewable energy and infrastructure development.
The event was inaugurated at the International Convention City Bashundhara in Kuril.
Organised by Savor International Limited, the exhibition will remain open to visitors from April 16 to 18, daily from 10:00am to 7:00pm. Postmaster Communication is serving as the event partner.
Among others, the inauguration ceremony was attended by President of the Bangladesh Sustainable and Renewable Energy Association Mostafa Al Mahmud, Bilal Belyurt, Arefeen Raafi Ahmed, Sunghoon Lee, Wang Hongbo, AZM Azizur Rahman, and Md Faizul Alam.
The exhibition aims to showcase developments in infrastructure construction materials, water management, timber and engineered wood, technology and the power sector.
It also serves as a platform for local and international companies to display products, technologies and solutions, contributing to the country’s infrastructure development.
Organisers said the event is expected to facilitate business-to-business connections, technology exchange and investment opportunities. It also aims to encourage collaboration among policymakers, engineers, entrepreneurs and foreign investors.
More than 400 stalls from over 10 countries, including Bangladesh, China, Korea, Türkiye, India, Malaysia and Singapore, are taking part in the expo.
Companies involved in infrastructure construction, power generation, renewable energy, water management, machinery and equipment, and related technologies are showcasing their offerings at the exhibition.
