They are joined by Kylian Mbappé and Vinícius Júnior. All four appear in a new campaign by LEGO. The advert is titled “Everyone wants a piece.”
In the video, the players appear as LEGO mini figures. They sit around a dim table. A LEGO version of the World Cup trophy is placed in the middle. The table spins as each player tries to place their figure on top of the trophy.
In a key moment, Messi finally gets control of the prize. This mirrors his real life win at the Lusail Stadium during the 2022 World Cup.
But the scene takes a twist. A young child suddenly appears and takes the trophy away from all of them.
Messi shared the video on his Instagram account. He added the line, “Honestly it’s not AI.” LEGO also posted the clip and tagged Ronaldo, Mbappé and Vinícius.
The advert has already gained millions of views. Fans have welcomed the rare moment of seeing all four stars together.
LEGO has also launched special sets for each player. These are aimed at building excitement before the World Cup this summer.
