The Premier Bank PLC has launched its ‘Recovery Month- April 2026’ initiative at its head office, aiming to strengthen financial discipline and deepen customer engagement across its operations.

The programme began on Tuesday under the bank’s Recovery Division, with officials from branches and sub-branches nationwide joining virtually, according to a press release.

The Premier Bank Chairman Arifur Rahman attended as chief guest, while Acting Managing Director Md Monzur Mofiz joined as special guest.

Senior management, including Deputy Managing Director and Chief Credit Officer Mohammad Al-Amin, Deputy Managing Director and Head of Retail Banking SM Wali Ul Morshed, Deputy Managing Director Amalendu Roy, and Head of Recovery SEVP Md Anowar Hossain, were present, with branch leadership participating online.

The initiative is aligned with the bank’s customer-focused strategy and aims to promote a structured and sustainable financial environment in line with Bangladesh Bank guidelines, said The Premier Bank Chairman Arifur Rahman.

Such efforts are expected to strengthen customer trust and reinforce operational resilience, he added.

Recovery efforts go beyond internal processes and contribute to a more responsible financial ecosystem for customers, said Acting Managing Director Md Monzur Mofiz.

The initiative will help the bank work more closely with clients, enabling them to manage financial commitments more effectively and plan with greater confidence, he added.

The Premier Bank said the programme reflects its continued focus on service excellence, financial governance and compliance, while promoting stability through a customer-centric approach.
