Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Bangladesh Imran Haider paid a courtesy call on National Parliament Speaker Major (Retd) Hafiz Uddin Ahmed in Dhaka on Wednesday.
During the meeting, the High Commissioner expressed his heartfelt condolences over the passing of Speaker’s wife, Dilara Hafiz.
They also discussed ongoing global crises, as well as key bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest.
Deputy Speaker Barrister Kaysar Kamal, Pakistan’s Deputy High Commissioner Mohammad Wasif, and senior officials from the Parliament Secretariat were present at the meeting.
