The official poster of Domm, the upcoming film by Redoan Rony inspired by true events, was unveiled on Sunday afternoon, March 1, marking the start of its promotional campaign ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr.
The striking poster features the intense visage of an injured yet resolute man. In the background, a dramatic tableau unfolds: a figure riding a donkey, trailed by numerous armed men. The imagery has significantly heightened audience curiosity, hinting at a narrative steeped in tension, resistance and human endurance.
Interest surrounding Domm had already been mounting since its announcement. Those associated with the production describe it as more than a conventional commercial release, characterising it instead as a powerful tale of human courage rooted in real-life events.
Director Redoan Rony said, “Domm is the story of an ordinary man rising up, the power of a common man. This story, in fact, belongs to everyone. We are delighted that viewers are responding positively to the poster. Many more surprises are waiting.”
SVF Alpha-i and Chorki jointly produce the film. Shahriar Shakil, Managing Director of SVF Alpha-i Entertainment Limited, said the unveiling of the poster formally kicked off the film’s promotional activities.
“With the release of the poster, the official promotion of Domm has begun. Much more is coming. Audiences have been with us and we believe they will continue to be. A lot of new experiences await them,” he said.
Carrying the tagline “Until the Last Breath,” Domm is slated for release during Eid-Ul-Fitr and is widely regarded as one of the most anticipated films of the year.
The film stars Afran Nisho, Puja Cherry and Chanchal Chowdhury in the lead roles.
Redoan Rony has co-written the screenplay along with Syed Ahmed Shawki, Al-Amin Hasan Nirjhar, Md Saifullah Riad and Rabiul Alam Robi.
