foodpanda Bangladesh has launched the fourth edition of its flagship Grand Iftar Bazar, bringing together popular iftar items from Old and New Dhaka at a single venue for Ramadan.
The online food and grocery delivery platform said in a press release that the initiative aims to simplify iftar planning while celebrating the culinary traditions of the holy month.
The bazar was inaugurated on Friday at Banani SWAT Field by foodpanda Bangladesh Co-Founder and Managing Director Ambareen Reza and foodpanda Bangladesh Co-Founder and Managing Director Zubair B A Siddiky.
This year’s lineup features eateries from across the capital, including Beauty Lacchi & Faluda, Decent Pastry Shop, Rater Kabab, Muslim Sweets, Tarka, Turkish Adana Kabab, Masterchef Subrat Ali, Haji Biriyani, Tri-State Eatery and Iftarwala.
Customers can order for home delivery or pick-up through the foodpanda app, choosing from a range of traditional Ramadan items.
The company has also arranged dine-in facilities for up to 120 guests at the venue, allowing families and friends to break their fast together.
“Ramadan has always been about togetherness for me,” bringing favourite jilapi, haleem, ghugni and rolls under one roof makes iftar easier and more joyful for families, said foodpanda Bangladesh Co-Founder and Managing Director Ambareen Reza.
She said Dhaka’s traffic and busy lifestyle often make visiting multiple places difficult, and the bazar is designed to offer convenience alongside tradition.
“Iftar is about gratitude and togetherness,” the platform has grown into a space connecting people through shared experiences during the holy month, said foodpanda Bangladesh Co-Founder and Managing Director Zubair B A Siddiky.
The Grand Iftar Bazar is powered by City Bank American Express, with Coca-Cola, Dettol, Harpic, Bellissimo Premium Ice Cream and TMSS LPG as partner brands.
The bazar will continue until the end of Ramadan.
