Yunus extends condolences to Modi after Ahmedabad plane crash

In a post on his official Facebook page, Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus extended his condolences to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi after an Air India flight carrying 242 passengers crashed in Ahmedabad on Thursday.

He said, “​At this trying hour, our thoughts and prayers remain with the victims and their loved ones. We stand in solidarity with the people and Government of India, and offer our full support in any form.”

“​Please accept, Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration,” he concluded.
