BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman has reached Khulna by helicopter on Monday. He is expected to take the stage shortly to deliver a speech at the Khalishpur Probati School ground. The rally has already begun.

Four BNP candidates from Bagerhat district addressed the gathering first, followed by four candidates from Satkhira and six from Khulna. Each presented their speeches highlighting local concerns.

The candidates focused on issues in their constituencies, particularly demanding the reopening of closed jute mills, measures to resolve waterlogging, and repairs to weak coastal embankments.

Tarique Rahman is visiting the district after 22 years. With the election approaching, he has been holding rallies in different parts of the country as part of the party’s election campaign.

He is scheduled to deliver a speech at Khalishpur Probati School ground in Khulna around noon on Monday. BNP candidates from 14 constituencies in Khulna, Bagerhat, and Satkhira districts will be present at the venue.

According to the Khulna district and metropolitan units of BNP, thousands of BNP supporters are expected to attend the event.

Leaders and activists have already begun arriving at the venue, many carrying the national flag and party flags.

After the Khulna rally, Tarique will travel to Jashore. From there, he will return to his residence in Dhaka’s Gulshan later at night.
