Farashganj Sporting Club and Bangladesh Army Sports Club dominated Women’s Football League action on Tuesday in Dhaka, delivering emphatic wins at Kamalapur to shake up the title race.

Farashganj produced a statement performance. They crushed Nasrin Sports Academy 11-0, combining pace, width and ruthless finishing to overwhelm their opponents.

Shamsunnahar Jr and Maria Manda led the charge. Both attackers smashed hat-tricks, stretching the defence with constant movement and finishing chances without mercy.

Farashganj attacked from everywhere. Tohura Khatun and Monika Chakma added two goals each, while Shamsunnahar Sr calmly converted a late penalty to complete the rout.

The result pushed Farashganj to the top of the table. They boast a perfect record, six wins from six matches and 18 points, while Nasrin stayed on three points after seven outings.

At the same venue, Bangladesh Army Sports Club also made their point. They beat Siraj Smrity Sangsad SC 4-0 with a controlled and disciplined display.

Army struck early and never let go. Sikha Akter set the tone, Arpita Biswas and Eite Akter stretched the lead before the break, and Joynob Bibi Rita sealed it after the restart.

Army balanced structure with intent. They defended high, pressed aggressively and punished mistakes, turning control into goals.

The win lifted Army to third place. They now sit on 18 points from seven matches, keeping pressure on the leaders, while Siraj Smrity Sangsad remained on four points.

With goals flowing and the table tightening, the Women’s Football League continues to gather momentum. Every result now carries weight in a season that refuses to slow down.
