The third round of the National Cricket League 1st XI 2026–27 has been pushed back by one day to give national team Test players more time to recover.
The matches were originally scheduled to take place from October 17 to 20. They will now be played from October 18 to 21.
The change will give the Test players an extra day of recovery and help make them available for the third round of the NCL.
The rest period between the third and fourth rounds has also been reduced by one day. This will allow the tournament to stay within its original overall schedule.
There will be no change to the fourth round.
The fourth round matches will be played from October 24 to 27 as originally planned.
