Dhaka, Panchagarh, Jashore and Kushtia sealed their semifinal spots on Tuesday at the Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium in Paltan as the TCL National Youth Men’s Handball delivered a goal-heavy third day.
The tournament now sets up two clear semifinal battles on Wednesday. Panchagarh face Jashore at 1:30pm, before Dhaka meet Kushtia at 3:00pm.
Dhaka stole the spotlight with ruthless efficiency. They played twice and won twice, stretching opponents until resistance snapped.
Faridpur felt the full force as Dhaka stormed to a 31–3 win. Dhaka controlled possession, pushed the tempo and broke lines at will.
Dhaka then backed it up against Jashore with a 34–23 victory. They attacked through the middle, forced turnovers and never loosened their grip.
Panchagarh matched that authority with a 34–17 win over Mymensingh. They built a steady lead, tightened their defence and punished every mistake.
Kushtia also completed a perfect day. They beat Madaripur 28–15 by dominating early exchanges and stretched the gap before halftime.
Kushtia later dismissed Chapainawabganj 28–16. Their defence stayed compact and shut down space before launching quick breaks.
Chapainawabganj did find joy elsewhere. They edged Mymensingh 28–27 in the tightest contest of the day, holding nerve when the pressure peaked.
Jamalpur rounded off the results with a controlled 24–13 win over Narail. They set the tone early and never allowed the game to drift.
The semifinals now promise contrast. Dhaka and Kushtia arrive with momentum, while Panchagarh and Jashore carry belief built on structure and discipline.
