The country’s top businessmen and industrial entrepreneurs have held a meeting with BNP’s acting chairman Tarique Rahman. This meeting was held on Sunday night at the BNP chairperson’s office in Gulshan.
Present at the meeting were the President of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Bangladesh, Mahbubur Rahman; Chairman of BSRM, Alireza Hossein Akbar Ali; former Presidents of the top business organization FBCCI, Mir Nasir Hossain and AK Azad; Managing Director of Square Group, Tapan Chowdhury; former President of BTMA, Matin Chowdhury; President of the Bangladesh Chamber of Industries (BCI), Anwar Ul Alam Chowdhury Parvez; Chairman and Managing Director of Meghna Group of Industries, Mostafa Kamal; Chairman of Uttara Motor Corporation Limited, Matur Rahman; President of MCCI, Kamran T Rahman; former President of BGMEA, Kutubuddin Ahmed; former President of BKMEA, Fazlul Haque; former President of MCCI, Nihad Kabir; President of BGMEA, Mahmud Hasan Khan; President of BTMA, Shawkat Aziz; President of BKMEA, Mohammad Hatem; President of the Steel Mill Owners Association, Jahangir Alam; Executive Member of ICC Bangladesh and CEO of Transcom Group, Simin Rahman; Chairman and CEO of PRAN Group, Ahsan Khan Chowdhury.

At this event, alongside the businessmen, were also present BNP Standing Committee members Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury and Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku.
