ICB Islamic Bank Limited recently held its Business Conference 2025, Strategic Plan 2026–2030 and Employees’ Conference 2025 at the Nagar Banquet Hall of Hotel The Sea Princess in Cox’s Bazar.
The first half of the first day’s programme was held under the theme Rebuild Trust on ICB Islamic Bank and saw participation from a large number of depositors, businesspeople, customers, investors, well-wishers and stakeholders from the Dhaka and Chattogram regions, along with around 200 officials from the bank’s branches across the country.
Bangladesh Bank Executive Director and ICB Islamic Bank Chairman and Managing Director Mojibur Rahman attended the programme as the chief guest.
During the event, Akij Group Director and Akij Motors Chief Executive Officer Sheikh Amin Uddin, prominent lawyer and the bank’s corporate client Barrister Rahat Khalil, Text BD owner Afroza Sultana, Unity Innovative Fashion Limited Chairman Tahmina Khatun Beauty, Director Sharmin Khanam and Managing Director Farid Ahmed expressed their commitment to strengthening business relations with the bank and further expanding commercial activities.
Bangladesh Bank Executive Director and ICB Islamic Bank Chairman and Managing Director Mojibur Rahman, along with three Bangladesh Bank officials working on deputation, Dr Sumanta Kumar Saha, Additional Director Enamul Haque, Joint Director, and Russell Mahmud, Joint Director, along with senior officials of ICB Islamic Bank, highlighted the bank’s ongoing development trajectory and proactive initiatives.
They expressed optimism that, by following regulatory compliance, the bank would be upgraded to a first-class Islamic bank within the shortest possible time.
The organisers said that such a programme was held for the first time in the bank’s history, creating enthusiasm among officers and employees at all levels.
Although the event was organised through personal financing this year, participating officials requested the management to arrange similar programmes regularly in the future.
At the programme, Bangladesh Bank Executive Director and ICB Islamic Bank Chairman and Managing Director Mojibur Rahman sought the cooperation of all stakeholders for the overall development, continued progress and sustained growth of ICB Islamic Bank Limited.
