The four-day REHAB Fair 2025, concluded at 9pm on Saturday at China–Bangladesh Friendship Conference Centre in Agargaon, Dhaka.
On the final day, the crowd of buyers and visitors had started to swell from the afternoon, similar to the previous day, according to a press release.
Many were seen rushing to make last-minute decisions on booking their preferred flats or plots. The fair drew significant interest not only from Dhaka and its surrounding areas but also from projects in divisional cities and emerging development zones.
Affordable flats, long-term installment facilities, and waived booking money specifically attracted first-time homebuyers. Visitors sought information on plots, ready flats, and ongoing construction projects alike.
In the late afternoon of the final day, several stalls saw particularly heavy footfall. Many buyers, visiting with their families, compared multiple projects, considering location, price, handover schedules, and bank loan facilities.
Developers noted that buyers were more likely to make decisions on the last day, taking advantage of special discounts and exclusive offers available only during the fair.
Participating companies observed that this year’s buyers had asked more practical and focused questions than before.
Visitors showed keen interest in flat quality, handover schedules, DAP-related matters, parking, community facilities, and future resale value, reflecting a growing awareness among property buyers.
According to Rehab officials, despite recent challenges in the housing sector, the fair had strengthened trust between buyers and developers. The opportunity to evaluate multiple developers under one roof saved time and costs.
While some visitors did not make immediate bookings, they left with sufficient information to make informed decisions.
The fair’s conclusion did not mark the end of opportunities for buyers. Several participating companies planned to continue their fair offers and discounts at their offices for the next few days, allowing those who could not finalise decisions due to the crowd to engage directly with developers.
Overall, Rehab Fair 2025 was not just a platform for buying and selling; it reflected the current state and future potential of the housing sector. Although the fair ended, the journey for many buyers to find their dream home had just taken a new turn.
