Shwapno has launched a month-long shopping campaign offering customers the chance to win Tk 1 lakh every day with a minimum purchase of Tk 1,000 at any outlet or through its online platform.
The campaign, titled “Shwapno Protidin Lakhpoti,” began on November 1 and will run throughout the month, giving 30 shoppers the chance to win a total of Tk 30 lakh.
Each purchase of Tk 1,000 or more earns an entry into Shwapno’s daily draw, where one customer becomes the day’s lakhpoti.
Shwapno Business Director Sohel Tanvir Khan handed cheques to the first four winners at an event held on Wednesday at the company’s Tejgaon head office in Dhaka.
The ceremony was streamed live on Shwapno’s official Facebook page.
The winners for November 1–4 are Roksana Begum from Gobindaganj in Gaibandha, Mehedi Hasan from Merul Badda in Dhaka, Md Iqbal Hossain from Banani in Dhaka and Md Shahadat Hossain from Basabo in Dhaka.
Shwapno officials also announced the next set of winners for November 5–11, selected through a lottery among eligible shoppers.
The largest retail chain of Bangladesh said customers will continue to receive special discounts and other promotional offers alongside the campaign throughout November.
