The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) on Wednesday published the circular of 50th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination, outlining the proposed schedule for the recruitment process.
According to the notification published on the PSC website, the online application process will begin on 4 December and continue until 31 December.
Under the PSC’s proposed timeline, the preliminary examination will take place on 30 January 2026, with results expected on 10 February.
The written examination is scheduled to begin on 9 April, and results are likely to be released on 30 July.
Viva voce exams will commence on 10 August, with the final results expected on 25 November.
The 50th BCS aims to recruit 1,755 cadres and 395 non-cadres, the circular stated.
PSC officials noted that the entire recruitment cycle—from application to final result—is planned to be completed within one year, marking one of the fastest timelines in BCS history.
