Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC celebrated a major milestone by holding its 400th meeting of the Board of Directors on Tuesday at the bank’s corporate head office in Dhaka.
The meeting was presided over by the bank’s Board Chairman AK Azad. To commemorate the occasion, a cake-cutting ceremony was held, marking the bank’s continuous journey of growth and governance since its inception.
During the session, the Board approved several new investment proposals aimed at strengthening the bank’s operational and financial performance.
Vice-Chairmen Mohammad Yunus and Mohiuddin Ahmed, along with Directors Akkas Uddin Mollah, Khandaker Shakib Ahmed, Engineer Md Touhidur Rahman, Md Mashiur Rahman Chamak, Tahera Faruq, Fakir Masrikuzzaman, Fakir Moniruzzaman, and Independent Directors Nasir Uddin Ahmed and Md Riazul Karim attended the meeting.
Managing Director Mosleh Uddin Ahmed and Company Secretary Md Abul Bashar were also present at the event.
