The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has transferred 38 officials of the customs cadre to various customs houses and offices across the country. NBR issued the transfer orders through five separate notifications on Thursday.
Of these, one order was issued on 3 February, while the remaining four were issued on 5 February. The reshuffle includes three commissioners, four joint commissioners, five additional commissioners, eight deputy commissioners, and 18 assistant commissioners.
The three transferred commissioners are Abul Bashar Md Shafiqur Rahman, Md Mahfuzur Rahman (current charge), and Md Jakir Hossain (current charge).
The four joint commissioners are Md Al Amin, Suman Das, Majedul Haque, and Mohibur Rahman Bhuyan. The five Additional Commissioners involved in the reshuffle are Kamnashish, Mohammad Selim Sheikh, Rakibul Hassan, Minhaj Uddin, and Abdul Rashid Mia.
The eight deputy commissioners are Mohammad Saifur Rahman, Prabhat Kumar Singha, Nurun Nahar Lily, Tanjila Yasmin, Zobaida Khanam, Rabindra Kumar Singha, Md Mashiur Rahman, and Ali Reza Hyder.
Additionally, the 18 assistant commissioners are Shuvra Deb Mandal, Apurba Saha, Abdus Sattar, Faisal Ahmed, Md Shawkat Hossain, Dipu Ram Ray, Samia Nishat, Md Ayub, Firoz Hossain Biswas, Asibul Haque, Rebeka Sultana Reema, Abu Saleh Abdun Noor, Minhaj Uddin Ahmed Sourav, Md Shahadat Hossain, Md Abdullah, AKM Jamiul Alam, Abdus Salam, and Mostafa Kamal.
