Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested 377 people and filed 41 cases during its routine drive across the capital in the last 24 hours.
The arrests and seizures were made during raids across different police station areas in the capital.
According to DMP, 85 people were arrested from Mirpur division, 64 from Tejgaon, 55 from Wari, 43 from Uttara, and 40 from Ramna, 32 from Gulshan, 26 from Lalbagh, and 25 from Motijheel.
The Detective Branch of DMP arrested seven more people during the operation.
Police recovered 3,030 pieces of Yaba pills, 55.230 kg of hemp, and 1,200 bottles of Phensedyl.
The police also seized one private car, two microbuses, one lock-cutting machine, six mobile phones, and tk330 in cash. Furthermore, one victim was rescued during the drive.
Legal proceedings against the arrested individuals are underway.
