Lady Gaga was the night’s biggest winner at the MTV Video Music Awards (MTV VMAs), bagging four trophies at New York’s UBS Arena. Ariana Grande and Sabrina Carpenter followed with three each.
Gaga, performing later at Madison Square Garden, stopped by early to pick up Artist of the Year, while Grande claimed Video of the Year for ‘Brighter Days Ahead’ and presented Mariah Carey with the Video Vanguard Award.
