Popular Bangladeshi actress Moushumi celebrated her birthday on 3 November, and her close friend, singer Dinat Jahan Munni, made the occasion even more special.
Both Moushumi and Munni currently live in the United States, where they often meet and attend events together. The two stars will reunite at another event in Michigan on 15 November.
They are scheduled to perform at the induction ceremony of the Beanibazar Janakalyan Samity, an organisation from Beanibazar in Sylhet.
Confirming their participation, Moushumi said, “Munni and I will attend the induction ceremony of the Beanibazar Janakalyan Samity in Michigan on 15 November. I hope to meet everyone there and that the cultural programme will be thoroughly enjoyable. Having my dear friend Munni by my side always makes the time special. She also made my birthday on 3 November truly memorable. I have so much love for her.”
Munni expressed her happiness over Moushumi’s recent receipt of a US green card, saying she could hardly put her joy into words. She added that she had always stood by Moushumi through good times and bad, and that they continued to meet frequently after moving to the United States.
“To me, Moushumi is more than a friend; she is someone very close to my heart, whom I trust and love more than anyone. I feel the same is true for her. I always pray that Moushumi stays happy and well with her mother, sister, husband and children,” Munni said.
She also noted that Moushumi was a practical person who did not let criticism from others affect her.
